The terms behind every routed payment

This is the agreement for using topropay. It is written plainly on purpose. It explains how merchants use our orchestration API. It sets out what we do, what we do not do, and the rules each account follows.

The short version

What these terms mean in practice

The full clauses sit below. First, here is the plain-language gist. It just helps you read the rest with the right frame.

  • We orchestrate, we don't process

topropay is a routing layer above your acquirers. We are not a payment processor. We never hold or touch your funds.

  • You keep your PSP contracts

Your bank and PSP relationships stay yours. Using our API does not change or end any agreement you hold elsewhere.

  • Built for high volume

The service targets high-volume and high-risk merchants. Fair-use limits and routing rules reflect that scale.

  • Compliance is shared

We carry PCI DSS, PSD2 and SCA scope on our side. You stay responsible for your own checkout and customer data.

The agreement

Terms of Service in full

Accepting these terms

These terms form a contract between you and topropay. They apply the moment you create an account or call our API. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

topropay is a payment orchestration layer. One API connects you to many acquirers, PSPs and local methods. We route, cascade and reconcile transactions in real time. We do not acquire payments, settle funds, or act as a bank.

Your account

Keep your API keys and login secret. You are responsible for every action taken under your credentials. Tell us fast if you suspect misuse. We may suspend access to protect the platform or other merchants when a real risk appears.

Acceptable use

Use the API for lawful payment flows only. Do not probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform. Do not route traffic for businesses banned by your acquirers or by law. Abuse of routing or cascading logic may end your access.

Fees and billing

Your order form sets your pricing. Fees are billed for the period agreed there. Unless that form says otherwise, charges are non-refundable. Taxes are added where the law requires. We give notice before any price change takes effect.

Service availability

We work hard to keep routing fast and online. Still, no platform is perfect. We may run maintenance or change features over time. Any uptime promise lives in your service agreement, not in this general document.

Liability

We provide the service with care, but to the extent the law allows we limit our liability. We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, or indirect loss. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior twelve months.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may end access if you break these terms or create legal risk. On termination your right to use the API stops. Clauses meant to survive, such as fees owed and liability, stay in force.

Scope of the service

Clear lines on what we are not

Good terms set honest limits. topropay is pure orchestration infrastructure. These boundaries are part of the agreement. They keep your expectations and ours aligned from day one.
